AI & Cyber Security Governance Manager - Private Equity
Outside IR35 - 6 Months Initial Contract

The Company:
We are partnering with a leading Private Equity firm seeking an AI & Cyber Security Governance Manager. This role will focus on strengthening governance across the firm, helping shape security strategy, risk management and AI governance as the organisation continues to evolve.
What you'll do:
As the AI & Cyber Security Governance Manager, you will play a vital role in strengthening and overseeing information security governance, with a primary focus on ISO 27001 standards. You’ll coordinate and drive compliance initiatives around AI, especially regarding EU AI Act requirements, manage regular security audits, and enhance governance processes. Your work will ensure the organization’s security posture meets evolving standards, engage closely with senior leadership, and protect the business from third-party and operational risks.

Key Skills:
- Own and improve the ISO 27001 ISMS.
- Lead governance around AI and EU AI Act compliance.
- Coordinate audits and manage remediation actions.
- Develop GRC and security governance processes.
- Manage vendor risk assessments (Vanta experience helpful).
- Own DDQs and executive cyber security reporting.
- Maintain security policies, governance documentation and incident governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, including senior leadership interaction
- Experience with AI governance or EU AI Act
