This newly created role offers a unique blend of treasury operations, data analytics, AI systems and digital transformation, making it ideal for a treasury professional who enjoys using technology to improve processes and drive better business outcome

Client Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Group Treasury team of a major international, FTSE-listed organisation with operations across more than 25 countries and annual revenues exceeding $45 billion.

With a workforce of over half a million employees and a significant global footprint, the business operates a sophisticated treasury function that supports large-scale funding activities, active debt capital markets programmes, complex banking structures and international liquidity management.

Working within a high-performing Group Treasury team, you'll gain exposure to the full breadth of treasury activities, including cash management, banking, risk management, debt capital markets, treasury systems, digital transformation and senior management reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a treasury professional looking to combine operational treasury experience with analytics, technology and process improvement, whilst gaining visibility across a truly global organisation.

Description

Treasury Transformation & Innovation

  • Drive treasury digital transformation initiatives across the function.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes using technology, AI and data-driven solutions.
  • Develop tools and reporting capabilities that improve efficiency, accuracy and decision-making.
  • Support the enhancement and optimisation of the Treasury Management System (TMS).

Reporting & Analytics

  • Own and enhance treasury reporting dashboards using Power BI.
  • Deliver insightful analysis on liquidity, debt, cash management and financial risks.
  • Utilise large data sets to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings and enhanced treasury performance.
  • Produce high-quality management information for senior treasury and finance leaders.

Treasury Operations

  • Execute and control treasury payments, funding transactions and intercompany settlements.
  • Support FX and derivative transaction processing and confirmations.
  • Manage treasury controls, bank account structures and settlement data.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues with banking partners and internal stakeholders.

Business Partnering

  • Support regional treasury and finance teams across multiple international markets.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations relating to banking structures, cash pooling, liquidity and treasury policy compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and banking partners.

Profile

Required:

  • Strong treasury operations, cash management or payments experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards or data visualisation tools (Power BI highly desirable).
  • Experience with automation, AI and technology-led process improvement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across international teams.

Ideal:

  • Experience with a Treasury Management System (Quantum or similar).
  • Exposure to FX, funding, risk management or treasury projects.
  • ACT/AMCT qualification (or actively studying).
  • Experience delivering automation, reporting or digital transformation initiatives
