AI Developer
AI Developer (Microsoft Ecosystem)
Our partner, based in the United Kingdom, is seeking a remote AI Developer focused on building scalable AI-driven solutions using Microsoft technology.
This hybrid role combining consulting and hands-on engineering involves designing intelligent applications leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI, and Microsoft 365 services. The developer will translate business requirements into AI-powered automation, working closely with Solution Architects, Consultants, and Technical Teams to deliver measurable value through LLM and agent-based technologies.
Accountabilities

Design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions using:
- Microsoft Copilot Studio (agents, workflows, prompts, skills, connectors, handoffs)
- Power Platform (Dataverse, CDS, integrations)
- Azure AI (LLMind, Copilot automation, foundation models)
- Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Graph)

Build and configure Copilot Studio agents including:
- Business logic, skills, and custom connectors
- Prompt strategies (e.g., retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge grounding)
- Human handoff mechanisms and testing workflows

Develop integrations with:
- Enterprise systems (SharePoint, Dataverse, Teams)
- REST APIs, graph APIs, and Microsoft authentication methods

Contribute to AI solution architecture, with expertise in:
- Scalability, maintenance, and throughput optimisation
- LLM optimisation (ethical alignment, compliance, and best practices)
- Documentation & knowledge sharing

Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to:
- Identify AI automation opportunities
- Define and deliver impactful AI implementations
- Conduct requirements analysis, testing, debugging

Stay ahead of Microsoft AI advancements and adopt new capabilities to:
- Increase automation efficiency
- Enhance AI agent intelligence
Requirements

Proven experience as:
- Software Developer, AI Developer, Chatbot Developer
- Technical Consultant or Power Platform Specialist
- preferably with Microsoft stack expertise

Deep hands-on knowledge of:
- Microsoft Copilot Studio (design patterns, agent skills, prompt engineering)
- Power Platform (Flows, Dataverse, CDS solutions)
- Azure AI services (Language, Generation, Knowledge, Copilot Studio)

Programming proficiency in:
- JavaScript, C#, or Python for custom development/integration

Ability to:
- Translate business requirements into technical AI/automation plans

Advisable experience:
- Working in consulting or client-facing environments
- Solving complex enterprise automation problems
