About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly within our existing Microsoft technology stack. This hybrid role is based in Winsford, Cheshire, offering the flexibility of working two days onsite per week. As an AI Engineer at Exalto Consulting Ltd, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, data specialists, and product teams to implement cutting-edge AI features using Azure AI, Microsoft CoPilot, and Model Context Protocol. Your expertise will directly influence the automation, efficiency, and intelligence of our software solutions, helping clients achieve their strategic objectives through innovative technology.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure AI or Cognitive Services.
  • Practical knowledge of integrating AI, automation, or data services within a Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, and application architecture.
  • Experience with .NET and C# development is desirable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with CoPilot, Model Context Protocol, or similar AI technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of AI projects from conception to deployment.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement AI-driven features and solutions within the Microsoft Azure environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities such as Azure AI, CoPilot, and Model Context Protocol into existing business systems.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements through AI applications.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and application architectures that support AI functionalities.
  • Participate in the testing, validation, and optimization of AI models to ensure high performance and accuracy.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and cloud technologies, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance product offerings.
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and colleagues.
