Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of AI Consulting to build and grow our AI advisory and delivery capabilities within Delta Capita’s expanding Data, Technology, and AI (DTA) function.

This senior leadership role will be instrumental in:

  • Defining the vision for AI
  • Shaping service offerings
  • Establishing scalable AI consulting practice foundations
  • Leading AI-driven client engagements
  • Building high-performing teams
  • Driving revenue through AI-enabled transformation initiatives

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially-driven leader with:

  • Deep consulting experience
  • Demonstrable track record of building capabilities in AI and other emerging technologiess
  • Expansion in AI services from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead Delta Capita’s AI Consulting Practice, developing:

    • Go-to-market strategy
    • Proposition development
    • Delivery model (foundation or construction)
  • Act as a thought leader in AI, advising C-level clients on practical applications in financial services, including:

    • Agentic AI
    • Generative AI
    • Automation
    • Predictive analytics
  • Drive business development:

    • Shape IT proposals and solutions
    • Generate and maintain a strong AI consulting pipeline
    • Leverage existing and new clients
  • Collaborate across consulting areas:

    • Transformation & change
    • Regulatory expertise
    • Client lifecycle management (CLM)

Required Experience

Applicants must possess:

  • Proven consulting background, ideally in a top-tier or specialist firm
  • Track record of building or scaling practices in:
    • AI or emerging technologies
    • Financial services industry focus
  • Strong commercial acumen:
    • Capacity to identify client needs
    • Shape successful proposals
    • Deliver highly profitable engagements
  • Deep understanding of AI landscape:
    • Data foundations
    • Model development
    • Governance frameworks
    • Responsible AI, relevant to financial services
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders in:
    • Managing large financial institutions
    • Translating AI capabilities into tangible business value
  • Proficient in leadership and team development:
    • Proposition creation
    • Cross-functional collaboration

Location & Hygiene Policy

This is a full-time permanent role based in London, with hybrid working expectations aligned to client requirements, typically:

  • Minimum 3 days per week in-office (client, or office)
  • Maximum 2 days per week from home
