Role Overview
We are seeking an **experienced Director of AI Consulting to build, foster and grow our world-leading AI advisory and delivery capabilities within Delta Capita’s expanding Data, Technology, and AI (DTA) function.
Positioned within this exciting phase of Delta Capita’s history, your critical senior leadership role will be integral in defining the future direction of our AI Consulting practice—including shaping vision, crafting service offerings, and establishing truly scalable AI consulting capabilities.
Additionally, you’ll:
- Lead AI-driven projects for our high-profile clients, steering high-performing teams through impactful transformation journeys
- Unlock revenue opportunities by delivering cutting-edge AI solutions and insights through innovative methodologies like agentic AI, generative AI, automation, and predictive analytics
This unique opportunity exists for commercially driven visionaries, industry leaders with strong track records in consulting, combining deep expertise alongside proven ability to build and scale AI-first business capabilities from foundational reaches.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Practice Growth
- Build Delta Capita’s AI Consulting Practice, defining go-to-market strategies, propositions, and scalable delivery models from the ground up—meshing innovation with structural growth

Expert Advisor & Thought Leader
- Advise C-level clients (particularly in financial services) on the practical business applications of emerging AI technologies
- Tackle agentic AI, generative AI, automation, and advanced analytics, demonstrating leadership through strategic insight backed by actionable transformation roadmaps

Commercial & Business Development
- Drive AI-led consulting opportunities, crafting high-impact proposals and filling robust, growth-oriented pipelines across teams and client networks

- Partner closely with Delta Capita’s Consulting core teams—including Transformation & Change, Regulatory, and Client Lifecycle Management—to nurture joint AI solutions tailored for our clients’ unique needs

Team Leadership & Culture Shaping
- Recruit, mentor, and lead talent, fostering a high-performing, groundbreaking cohort of AI consultants, data and technical specialists, and analysts pushing boundaries across projects
- Develop practices aligned with innovation, experimentation, and measurable impact, creating a vibrant culture geared toward operational excellence and leadership momentum

Trend & Compliance Drive
- Stay at the forefront of AI innovation, vendor ecosystems, regulatory frameworks and AI ethics, ensuring offerings remain cutting-edge, scalable, and compliant for rapid market adoption

Strategic Partnership & Ecosystem Expansion
- Forge thought leadership alliances, leveraging partnerships with leading AI vendors, academic institutions, and fintech innovators to expand our capabilities
Job Requirements
Required Experience & Skills:
- A tested trajectory in consulting—voiced industry credentials from either top-tier or specialist consulting firms
- Proven history of scaling practice areas into durable, impactful business entities—preferably focused on financial services sector innovations
- Commercial acumen to navigate client industries; adapt corporate goals to-everyday propositions and deliver on magical ROI-transformation visions
- Deep institutional knowledge of AI-driven systems and technologies—spanning data foundations, model development, governance, ethical AI frameworks, particularly how they apply to financial services successes
- Senior stakeholder expertise, with executed credentials in managing SME and board-level stakeholders across large financial institutions—succeeding in translating AI strategies into direct revenue, efficiency gains, and competitive differentiation
- Outstanding collaborative leadership—propotions, team fabrication, cross-functional change-agile and AI-specific roles consulting capabilities

Working Expectations & Hybrid Model
Clients and stakeholders set the engagement rhythm for our Service Provider & Consulting firm. Depending on client needs, workload could ensue either at client sites or in-house.
Typically, at least 3 days/week in-office engagement with 2 remote days, aligned with modern client operational policies.
