ABOUT THUNDER
Thunder is a tech-enabled investment bank with a founder-first philosophy. We help growth-stage, founder-led technology companies navigate capital strategy — equity, debt, and M&A — by combining senior operator expertise with modern systems, automation, and AI.
Partners at Thunder are former founders, operators, and senior advisors. Our job as a firm is to maximize their leverage — giving them the infrastructure, workflows, and tools needed to focus on what matters most: relationships, strategy, and closing outcomes.
Thunder is an AI-first organization. We actively deploy modern AI tools, no-code automation, and CRM systems to replace manual work, increase reliability, and raise the operating standard of professional services.
THE ROLE
We are hiring an AI-Driven Operations Associate — Partner Enablement to act as the operational backbone for our partner team.
This is not a client execution role and not a traditional admin role.
Your mission is to dramatically increase partner capacity by:
-
Running a clean operating cadence
-
Owning CRM and follow-up reliability
-
Automating repetitive work
-
Ensuring partners are always prepared, on-track, and supported
You’ll work directly with the Founder and partners, sitting at the intersection of operations, automation, and entrepreneurship. This role mirrors the internal enablement function that has historically driven Thunder’s partner productivity and deal velocity.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career (1–3 years of experience) who is highly organized, systems-minded, and excited by using AI and automation to scale human judgment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
