AI Engineer

Location: Hybrid - London

Package: Negotiable + Benefits

Built on meritocracy, our unique company culture rewards self-starters and those who are committed to doing what is best for our customers.

We are seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy Generative AI and AI-driven applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and leading Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic).

This role is hands-on and delivery-focused: you will move AI from prototype to production, working closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and risk & compliance to deliver safe, scalable, and compliant AI solutions for regulated insurance environments.

The Day To Day

AI Solution Design & Delivery

  • Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications including chatbots, copilots, document intelligence, and decision-support tools for insurance use cases.
  • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns using structured and unstructured insurance data (policies, submissions, bordereaux, claims documents).
  • Build LLM-based workflows and agents using platforms such as ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic).

Cloud & Platform Engineering (GCP)

  • Develop and deploy AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform, leveraging services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, and secure API integrations.
  • Implement scalable, resilient architectures suitable for production use in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Integrate AI services into existing business applications and workflows.

Data, MLOps & Engineering

  • Work with Data Engineers and Analysts to prepare, embed, and manage data for AI use cases, including vector databases and embeddings.
  • Implement CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and model performance tracking for AI solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are maintainable, reusable, and cost-effective.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
