I am currently partnered with a leading Managed IT services provider and Microsoft innovation specialist who are looking for a curious and hands-on AI Developer to join their team.
This is a unique, high-impact role focused on delivering transformative AI solutions for clients and driving internal development and enablement to keep the agency at the forefront of the industry.
Job Title: AI Engineer
Location: Reading
Salary: Up to £72,000 (Possible slight flex dependent on experience)
Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
- Solution Delivery: Building and deploying production-ready AI solutions, including Chatbots, RAG systems, and automated workflows.
- Internal Enablement: Leading internal AI training sessions and developing tools to improve company-wide efficiency and AI literacy.
- Consultancy: Acting as a subject matter expert to help clients understand what is possible with Microsoft AI technology.
- Rapid Prototyping: Quickly building PoCs using the latest tools and frameworks to demonstrate value to stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required
- Development Stack: Strong proficiency in Python or C# and experience with the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Azure AI: Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI Service, AI Search, and the Azure AI Studio.
- Modern AI: Familiarity with LLM integration, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
