Every company says it's an AI company now. A much smaller set are building products where the AI is the product — agents and LLM systems running inside live enterprise workflows, where "it worked in the demo" doesn't count. We know these teams well, because we work with them directly, and we can steer you past the hype toward the ones doing the serious version of this work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The opportunities
Compensation at these companies can reach £200k+ plus equity. The craft here lives in the gap between a slick prototype and a system that holds up in front of real enterprise users — closing that gap is the whole job. You'd own features outright, from the agents and RAG pipelines to the evals that keep them honest, at companies early enough to hand you the reins and funded well enough to ship properly.
You could work on
- Building and shipping production AI systems — agents, RAG pipelines, evals
- Taking features from prototype to reliably in production
- Prompting, tooling, orchestration and guardrails, close to the model
- Turning foundation models into workflows customers actually use
