The Role
We are looking for a flexible and driven Data Scientist/AI Engineer to design, prototype, and scale AI solutions. Your work will span the entire AI workflow, from model development and training to deploying generative AI and ML pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and implement AI models in collaboration with diverse teams.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to align AI solutions with real-world needs.
- Ensure responsible, ethical, and governance-compliant AI practices.
- Stay ahead of innovations in AI and ML, especially around generative AI, and evaluate their potential for our organisation.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning.

Requirements
Skills & Experience:
You should have:
- Strong Python proficiency and experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers).
- Hands-on experience training, tuning, or deploying machine learning models, including LLMs or deep learning architectures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Data Scientists, engineers, and stakeholders in an agile environment.
- Familiarity with:
- Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Vector databases (e.g., Qdrant).
- MLOps tools (e.g., DVC).
- A solid grasp of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible ML practices.
