A global organisation in the South West is expanding its internal AI capability and is now hiring a Junior–Mid Level AI Engineer. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is flexible, driven, and passionate about practical AI, particularly AI Agents, process automation, and generative AI. You’ll join a small, growing AI function that is investing heavily in automation and next‑generation agentic AI solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain exposure to cutting‑edge Microsoft AI tools, work with external specialists, and contribute directly to high‑impact transformation projects.

What We Offer: 27 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) Hybrid working (two days in the office desired). Private health care. Minimum 8% and up to 10% pension contribution from the business. World class training directly from Microsoft AI subject matter experts. Up to £45,000 per annum dependent on experience. Career development: The AI Development team is very young at this business, and as you are joining at this early and crucial stage, you have the opportunity to grow with it, whether that is technically, or team management and strategic planning

Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain AI Agent workflows to automate real business processes (file creation, database population, task orchestration, etc.). Develop RPA solutions using Power Platform / Power Automate and Copilot Studio. Transition solutions into more advanced environments such as Azure Fabric, Foundry, and other cloud‑based AI services when low‑code tools reach limitations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into AI‑driven solutions. Work with external development partners and technical vendors. Deliver at least one major AI project while supporting smaller initiatives depending on workload. Contribute to internal AI adoption by demonstrating the value of automated and agent‑based solutions.

What We’re Looking For A motivated, adaptable, and curious individual with a strong interest in AI Agents, generative AI, and automation. Someone who is keen to learn and comfortable diving into new technologies quickly.

Ideal Background Around 1-2 years’ commercial experience in AI, ML, automation, or related engineering. Degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or similar (helpful but not essential). Experience building: AI Agents, RPA-driven automations, Generative AI applications. Strong interest in agentic systems that interact with processes, APIs, data sources, and business workflows. Familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack, ideally including: Power Platform / Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, Fabric, or similar. Ability to quickly pick up new concepts and technologies. Comfortable working in an agile, fast‑moving environment. Confident communicator with the ability to explain technical work clearly.

Beneficial (not required) Python LangChain or Semantic Kernel GitHub / version control Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google)
