AI Engineer | London | Hybrid | 5+ years Experience

We're partnering with a fast-growing financial technology company that's building innovative AI-powered products for some of the world's leading financial institutions. They're looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to take ownership of a customer-facing AI platform, developing intelligent interfaces that enable users to interact with complex financial analytics using natural language. This is an opportunity to have a genuine impact on a greenfield AI product from architecture through to production.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, build and own an AI-powered customer-facing application from end to end.
  • Develop multi-agent AI workflows capable of interpreting natural language queries and generating intelligent, explainable responses.
  • Integrate LLMs into production systems using cloud AI services such as AWS Bedrock.
  • Build intuitive frontend experiences that surface AI-generated insights and user interactions.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable and high-quality AI solutions.

What we're looking for

  • Strong full-stack software engineering experience, with a track record of delivering production-grade applications.
  • Commercial experience building AI-powered products or features that solve real customer problems.
  • Strong understanding of LLMs, AI agents and conversational AI systems.
  • Solid knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, including neural networks and transformer architectures.
  • Experience with cloud-based AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock is advantageous.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
