AI Engineer (LLM / RAG / Knowledge Graph) – Banking
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract
We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join an exciting project with a leading client in the banking sector based in Sheffield.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in developing enterprise AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), combined with experience in knowledge graph technologies.

- Strong hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Experience designing and implementing Knowledge Graphs
- Proven experience building AI-powered applications and solutions
- Strong understanding of modern AI/ML frameworks and architectures
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
Essential Requirements
- Previous banking or financial services domain experience is essential.
- Ability to work from the Sheffield office as required.

Desirable Skills
- Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with vector databases and AI orchestration frameworks
