AI/ML Engineer

London (hybrid – 2 days per week in office)
Type
Permanent
Salary
£65,000 – £80,000 + EMI share options
Interview Process
3 stages
We're hiring an AI/ML Engineer for a fast-growing data and AI consultancy working across financial services, private equity, retail, asset management, and the public sector. This is a new role driven by increased project demand; you won't be joining a team that's standing still. Engineers here typically say they learn more in a year than anywhere else they've worked, and the project mix backs that up: satellite image analysis, pharma auditing copilots, government deepfake detection, and more.
You'll join a 12-person engineering team and work across the full lifecycle - from fast POCs through to production-grade systems in regulated environments. There's a hard start date on an upcoming project, so we're moving quickly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
