Salary & Benefits Up to £110,000 + Benefits | Yorkshire or London – Hybrid working (c10 days per month in-office, based at either location).
About the Role
Elevation Tech & Transformation are partnering with a well-established, highly respected business that has created a new AI Enablement team. This isn’t a traditional software engineering role.
You won’t be working through a ticket queue or maintaining legacy systems. Instead:
- You’ll collaborate directly with users to identify opportunities
- Rapidly prototype AI-powered solutions
- Build products that solve real business problems using modern AI tooling

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and define strategic priorities
- Design, build and deploy production systems using TypeScript, Node.js and AWS
- Prototype and iterate on AI solutions with rapid feedback loops
- Leverage agentic workflows, RAG architectures and LLM-powered applications
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into existing workflows
- Balance autonomy with prototyping – ensuring scalable solutions are built where impactful
Requirements
- Strong engineering experience in TypeScript / Node.js
- Proven ability to build and deploy production systems on AWS
- Daily use of modern AI tools – research, evaluation and integration expected
- Deep understanding of:
- Agentic workflows
- RAG architectures
- LLM-powered applications
- Confidence working in ambiguity – thriving when problems are complex and non-linear
- Naturally curious, driven by emerging technology, and hungry to learn
