AI Geometry Development Engineer
As an AI Geometry Development Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for developing geometric algorithms and solvers for Dassault Systèmes’ MODSIM solutions, which aim to unify modelling and simulation workflows within the 3DExperience platform. You will participate in the development of new technologies for Model Preparation for numerical simulation. To do so, you will have the opportunity to develop and deploy software at the core of the Geometric Modeler, enhanced with AI technologies.
Role Description & Responsibilities
- Model preparation for numerical fluid simulation using Navier-Stokes workflows: You will contribute to the development of the core geometry technologies used to ensure geometric watertightness for volume meshing during the CAD idealization process.
- Model preparation for structural simulation: You will develop AI agents whose function will be to elevate semantics of CAD parts in order to accelerate and automate the generation of high quality meshes for crash solvers. More specifically, you will be responsible for the AI model definition and implementation, training database creation, and results validation on industrial data.
- More generally, you will contribute to the work to enlarge AI usage within the Geometry Idealization portfolio for numerical simulation at the 3D MODSIM organization level and extend our best-in-class position compared to competitors in a quickly evolving R&D ecosystem

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
