Role Description
The AI Governance Consultant is a full-time remote role responsible for advising clients on designing, implementing, and maintaining AI governance frameworks. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Assessing existing AI initiatives
- Identifying compliance gaps
- Recommending risk mitigation strategies aligned with regulations such as the EU AI Act and related global standards

The consultant will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define policies and procedures for responsible AI use, including:
- Shadow AI detection
- Model validation
- Documentation practices
This role involves:
- Conducting research and analysis on emerging AI regulations
- Preparing briefings and reports
- Delivering workshops or training sessions to client teams
The consultant will also support the development of internal tools and templates that help organizations monitor AI performance, manage risks, and turn compliance into measurable business value.
Qualifications
- Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to translate complex technical and regulatory topics into clear, actionable guidance.
- Proficiency in data-focused disciplines such as Data Science and Pattern Recognition, with experience applying these methods to model assessment and risk analysis.
- Practical experience with Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP), including familiarity with model lifecycle management, evaluation, and documentation.
- Knowledge of AI governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, ideally including exposure to the EU AI Act or similar regulatory regimes.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills for producing reports, policies, and client-facing materials.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Law, Public Policy, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in enterprise environments, regulatory consulting, or ethics and compliance roles is beneficial.
