About Us

We’re the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services, headquartered in Belgium. We are the way the world moves value – across borders, through cities and overseas. No other organisation can address the scale, precision, pace and trust that this demands, and we’re proud to support the global economy.

We’re unique too. We were established to find a better way for the global financial community to move value – a reliable, safe and secure approach that the community can trust, completely. We’re always striving to be better and are constantly evolving in an ever-changing landscape, without undermining that trust. Five decades on, our vibrant community reflects the complexity and diversity of the financial ecosystem. We innovate diligently, test exhaustively, then implement fast. In a connected and exciting era, our mission has never been more relevant. Swift now has a presence in 200+ countries and legal territories to serve a community of more than 12,000 banks and financial institutions.

As AI becomes embedded in our services and operations, Swift is preparing for a new regulatory era and evolving global supervisory expectations. This role is a key part of how we operationalise that shift.

About The Squad

The AI and Transaction Data Governance squad owns governance practices for AI and Transaction Data and builds literacy across Swift to equip the organisation for safe, effective AI adoption and Transaction Data use. The team leads AI literacy efforts alongside running AI and Transaction Data governance frameworks and managing the data catalogue. We drive greater clarity, reduced risk, and increased trust in how AI and Transaction Data are used across Swift.

As AI Governance Lead, you will support the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks, processes, and controls that align with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Working in a small team, you will contribute to high-impact initiatives that shape how the organisation adopts and governs AI, navigating ambiguous areas and turning complexity into clear, practical outcomes that enable innovation with confidence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
