AI-Native Automation QA Engineer

Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 3 days in-office per week)

With growth to over 100 staff across the UK, US & Europe, XYZ partners with Mission Critical organisations and construction companies to deliver major projects successfully.


The Role

We are seeking a highly meticulous AI-Native Automation QA Engineer with a relentless eye for detail. This role requires designing and maintaining automation frameworks while leveraging AI-powered tools to optimise processes. Exploration testing will be used to deepen understanding of our platforms and new features, helping generate edge case scenarios. As the final quality gate before release, our QA Team ensures our customers receive high-quality, reliable software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts, accelerating workflows with AI tools.
  • Contribute to AI agents-driven CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify, log, and regression-test bugs post-fix confirmation.
  • Execute sanity & regression tests to validate system stability across environments.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to understand new features and uncover complex edge cases.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright or Selenium) for scripting and test suite execution.
  • Hands-on experience with API & backend testing (tools like Postman).
  • Strong scripting proficiency in JavaScript or similar, paired with practical knowledge of AI-assisted development workflows.

Key Experience & Skills

✔ Small-team collaboration across platforms. ✔ Exceptional attention to detail. ✔ Clear verbal/written communication skills. ✔ Familiarity with bug tracking and test execution tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). ⚡ Knowledge of construction BIM standards (preferred).
