Senior Project Manager – AI
We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager – AI to lead the operational delivery of M+C Saatchi Group’s AI capability (MICA) as it scales globally.
This role sits at the heart of our AI ecosystem, ensuring the infrastructure, governance, tooling, and processes supporting MICA operate effectively and at pace. You will transform AI ambition into scalable, consistent ways of working across the Group.
Reporting to the Chief People & Operations Officer, and collaborating with Consulting, Experience and Performance CEO (as the AI sponsor), as well as IT, Legal, Procurement, and business leaders, this role will facilitate safe, efficient, and impactful AI deployment. This London-based position operates in a hybrid-working environment and spans a global team network.
About the Role
As MICA scales across the Group, we need a dedicated programme lead to manage its operational backbone.
This is a hands-on programme delivery role focusing on infrastructure, governance, rollout, and adoption—distinct from AI strategy, client work, and product development. Instead, it ensures the tools, processes, and frameworks are robust to support these areas.
You will oversee a complex, fast-moving programme spanning technology, policy, vendor management, and organisational rollout, working across multiple stakeholders and disciplines. Success will be measured by:
- A well-managed, scalable AI tool ecosystem across the Group
- Clear, up-to-date governance and usage frameworks
- Smooth onboarding and adoption of AI tools within teams
- Strong vendor and contract management discipline
- Delivery of key infrastructure upgrades enabling AI at scale
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the MICA operations programme, ensuring alignment, tracking, and on-time completion of all workstreams
- Manage the -group approved AI tool inventory and roadmap, collaborating with IT, Procurement, and Legal, while communicating effectively with business stakeholders. This includes:
- Coordination of new tool onboarding
- Recommendations to the steering committee for sunsetting non-approved tools
- Evolve the AI governance framework with Legal, IT, Procurement, and business stakeholders, ensuring policies remain current and compliant
- Maintain and refine GenAI production guidelines, aligning with IP, usage, and tool permissions across disciplines
- Drive adoption and change management, including:
- Coordination of onboarding and training programmes (cohort rollouts)
- License allocation, utilisation tracking, and ROI assessments
- Learnings reviews from pilot phases
- Support vendor governance, renewals, and contract management with Procurement and IT partners
- Oversee AI infrastructure projects in collaboration with the IT team
- Lead governance forums (e.g., SteerCo and taskforces), ensuring actions, timelines, and documentation are properly managed
- Coordinate agent management, applying governance frameworks for build requests, approvals, inventory, and credit management (with IT for optimisation)
- Embed sustainability (planet and D&I) considerations in:
- Policy, governance
- Training and supplier assessments
- Track and report on programme progress, risks, and delivery milestones
- Maintain a consistent drumbeat of communications and knowledge-sharing on tool capabilities, both globally and with cohort AI Champions

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
