AI & Operations Lead | PM Digital Design · Remote Role

We are a CRO and Shopify performance agency. We are hiring the person who makes us faster at everything.

Most agencies grow by hiring more people. We grow by getting better & executing faster.

Our bet for the next few years is simple: the same lean team, serving more brands, producing more, without quality ever slipping.

The thing that makes that bet real is systems and AI. That is this role.

You are the person who looks at how a CRO agency actually runs, delivery, design, development, strategy, research, copywriting, reporting, and asks one question on repeat: how do we do this faster, cleaner, and with fewer manual steps? Then you go and build it.

This is not a "manage a project board" job. This is a builder's job with an operator's brain.

What you'll actually do

  • Build our internal systems and apps. The tools that make every function quicker: faster development, faster design, faster strategy, faster research, faster copy. If a process is manual and repetitive, you turn it into a system.
  • Own the AI and automation layer of the whole agency. LLM workflows, automations, integrations, internal apps. You are hands on the keys, not just directing.
  • Operationalise the business. Take how we work and turn it into clean, documented, enforced systems so nothing lives only in one person's head.
  • Ship real product. We are building our own internal platform and client-facing tools. You own the roadmap, the build, and getting the team to actually use them.
  • Manage and grow a team. You will manage an AI developer from day one, and build out the team as we scale. You set the standard, unblock them, and get real output.
  • Be forward thinking. You are watching what is coming in AI and tooling and pulling it into the business before our competitors do. Staying ahead is the job.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The stack you'll live in

  • Claude, Cursor, and LLMs generally. GitHub, Vercel, Supabase. Automation tooling, and plenty you will build yourself from scratch. If a tool does not exist for what we need, you build it.

Who you are

  • You can build. Either you are a full stack developer, or you are already deep in these tools and shipping real systems with them. Either way, you make things, you do not just plan them.
  • You are fluent with LLMs. Non-negotiable. You know how to get real leverage out of them, not just chat with them.
  • You have managed people in a real role. You know how to run a small technical team and hold a quality bar.
  • You have agency experience, or you understand how a fast, client-facing delivery business actually works. You get that systems have to fit the real flow of the work, not just look good on paper.
  • You have a bias to ship. A half-built system nobody uses is worth nothing to us, and you know it.

Why this role is a good one

  • You will have real ownership, a founder who wants systems and gets out of your way, and a mandate to build. This is the leverage engine of the whole company. Get it right and you are the person the entire agency gets faster because of.

How to apply

  • Show us something you have built. A system, an app, an automation, anything real. Tell us what it did and why it mattered. Anyone can list tools. We want to see what you have actually shipped.
