Position Overview
The AI Product Manager leads the strategy, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and measurement of internal AI initiatives that advance BGB’s AI operating model. This role turns the agency’s AI vision into a practical roadmap across:
- GPT/LLM enablement
- Agentic workflows
- Claims Library
- Orchestration Engine
- Cortex/memory
- 3D Science tools
- Production standardization
- Workflow automation
The role is accountable for ensuring AI investments are prioritised against business value, built with governance rigor, adopted by teams, and measured for operational and commercial impact.
The AI Product Manager defines the AI product roadmap, prioritises use cases, drives adoption, and ensures every AI initiative delivers measurable value.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Prioritisation
- Own and maintain the AI product portfolio and roadmap across key areas (GPT enablement, agentic workflows, etc.).
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritise AI opportunities based on value, feasibility, risk, reuse potential, adoption readiness, and alignment to the AI vision.
Requirements & Execution
- Gather needs from cross-functional stakeholders and translate business requirements into:
- PRDs (Product Requirements Documents)
- User stories
- Acceptance criteria
- Rollout and measurement plans
- Partner with engineering, platform, UX, and SMEs to progress initiatives from concept → pilot → production → adoption.
MVP & Scaling Decisions
- Define scope for MVP vs. future releases, ensuring early efforts prove:
- Adoption success
- Value justification
- Quality and scalability readiness
Adoption & Change Management
- Coordinate pilots, user testing, workflow mapping, training, stakeholders comms, and feedback loops.
- Monitor post-launch adoption metrics, operational impact, user satisfaction, risks, and enhancements.
Governance & Compliance
- Establish product-level governance standards with:
- IT & Security
- Medical & Editorial
- Legal/Compliance & leadership
- Around data use, content review, source traceability, and human oversight.

Measurement & Reporting
- Define KPIs & OKRs for AI initiatives, tracking:
- Usage/adoption rates
- Cycle-time savings
- Quality improvements
- Cost avoidance/revenue potential
- User satisfaction
- Create executive-ready updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
Qualifications
Experience ✔ 5+ years in product management, technology delivery, digital transformation, innovation, enterprise software, or AI automation ✔ Experience managing end-to-end AI initiatives (from strategy to adoption across multiple stakeholders) ✔ Deep understanding of AI/LLM capabilities, agentic workflows, governance, product discovery, agile delivery, and change management
Skills & Knowledge ✔ PRD and roadmap writing, business cases, success metrics, rollout plans, executive updates ✔ Ability to evaluate AI use cases through a business-value lens (efficiency, quality, risk, adoption, revenue, operational impact) ✔ Strong stakeholder management, communication, prioritisation, facilitation ✔ Comfort collaborating with technical teams, SMEs, and executive leadership ✔ Firsthand experience using AI tools in personal or professional workflows
Mindset & Focus ✔ Ensures the AI vision becomes a disciplined product portfolio, not disconnected experiments ✔ Connects technical decisions to commercial priorities, workflows, governance, and measurable outcomes ✔ Balances speed with quality, scalability, and business value—helping BGBx move fast while staying strategic
Salary Range
£50,000 - £60,000 GBP
