AutoRek is a financial data management platform enabling companies to streamline and automate complex and high-volume data management and controls processes. Our customers range from innovative FinTech start-ups to many of the UK and the world’s largest banks, asset managers, and insurance companies. As financial transaction volumes continue to grow alongside increasing regulatory obligations, organisations are under pressure to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and better manage risk. AutoRek’s platform is designed to meet these demands, and we continue to be a leading player in the market.
We have recently launched ARIA, our embedded AI capability within the AutoRek platform, designed to enhance how our customers manage and automate complex financial data workflows. ARIA builds on our strong foundation in reconciliation, controls, and financial data management, combining deep domain expertise with advanced AI capability. There is a growing volume of AI-driven ideas and use cases emerging from across our customer base, Sales teams, and internal stakeholders. The opportunity now is to shape these ideas into structured, scalable product features that can be consistently delivered, adopted, and embedded within the core platform. This role is central to ensuring ARIA evolves from a set of promising capabilities into a repeatable, high-impact product offering that delivers tangible value to our clients, improving efficiency, strengthening controls, and reducing operational risk.
What You’ll Do
As an AI Product Lead, you will be responsible for driving the execution of ARIA by turning AI-driven ideas into a structured, prioritised backlog of features that are built, shipped, and adopted. This is a hands-on product execution role, focused on delivery rather than strategy or research. You will work closely with Engineering, Product Leadership, and customer-facing teams to ensure ARIA evolves into a scalable and repeatable product capability.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience owning and managing a product backlog
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous ideas into clearly defined, shipped features
- Experience working in data-heavy, workflow-driven platforms
- Ability to break down AI, ML, or automation capabilities into incremental, buildable features
- Experience working closely with Engineering teams across design, development, and delivery
- Ability to engage with customers, Sales, and stakeholders to gather inputs and convert them into actionable requirements
- Comfortable operating cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Professional Services

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
