This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Project / Product Manager (PSP / Fintech) based in United Kingdom.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of AI-driven product delivery within a fast-growing fintech environment focused on payment infrastructure and automation. In this hybrid project and product role, you will drive execution across multiple internal initiatives while helping shape product strategy and technical direction. You will work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to transform business needs into clear, actionable solutions. The role combines hands-on delivery management with product thinking, offering significant ownership and influence over roadmap decisions. You will leverage modern AI tools and agile practices to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and accelerate innovation. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in complex technical environments and enjoys turning ambitious ideas into successful products.
Accountabilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery across multiple AI and fintech-related projects, ensuring predictable timelines, clear priorities, and effective execution.
- Own and maintain Jira as the central source of truth, including backlog organization, task clarity, prioritization, dependencies, workflows, and delivery tracking.
- Plan development capacity, forecast timelines, and proactively identify risks, blockers, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Work closely with engineering teams to remove obstacles, clarify requirements, coordinate resources, and ensure smooth development progress.
- Lead structured team meetings, maintain clear documentation, and ensure alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
- Understand the broader product ecosystem, including feature relationships, dependencies, and system workflows.
- Contribute to product strategy by defining roadmap priorities, evaluating trade-offs, and translating business goals into structured technical requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and propose practical product solutions.

Requirements
- Proven experience managing technical projects with a strong focus on delivery, execution, and measurable outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency with Jira, including task management, epics, workflows, dependencies, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and the ability to estimate technical effort, identify root causes of blockers, and maintain delivery control.
- Ability to understand complex technical requirements and communicate workflows clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly autonomous mindset with strong ownership, critical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing distributed international teams and collaborating across different functions is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in fintech, payment service providers (PSP), high-risk payment environments, or financial technology is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with AI-powered products, technical ecosystems, financial metrics, or business unit economics is considered beneficial.
