Job Summary

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented AI Prompt Engineer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will design, test, and optimize prompts for large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI systems to improve the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of AI-generated outputs. You will collaborate with product, engineering, data science, and business teams to develop AI-powered solutions that enhance user experiences and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI applications
  • Evaluate prompt performance and refine prompts to improve output quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and UX teams to implement AI-driven features
  • Conduct prompt testing, experimentation, and A/B testing to optimize AI responses
  • Create prompt libraries, templates, and documentation for internal use
  • Monitor AI model performance and recommend improvements based on user feedback and analytics
  • Stay up to date with advancements in AI, NLP, and prompt engineering best practices
  • Support AI model fine-tuning and data annotation initiatives where applicable
  • Ensure AI outputs comply with ethical, legal, and organizational guidelines
  • Document prompt strategies, workflows, and evaluation methodologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in AI, prompt engineering, NLP, technical writing, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI technologies
  • Experience working with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Azure AI, or AWS Bedrock
  • Excellent written communication and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, or scripting languages is an advantage
  • Understanding of prompt optimization, prompt chaining, and AI evaluation techniques
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, vector databases, or AI workflow automation
  • Familiarity with prompt evaluation frameworks and AI safety principles
  • Knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), or conversational AI
  • Experience using tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or similar AI frameworks
  • Contributions to AI research, open-source projects, or prompt engineering communities are a plus
