AI Prompt Engineer & Data Manager
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid – remote considered) Salary: Up to £50k (depending on experience) Type: Full-time
My client—a growing group of businesses operating across UK social infrastructure—is hiring a talented AI Prompt Engineer/Data Manager to fill a brand-new, high-impact role.
This is a unique chance to own an entire digital and AI workstream from the ground up, shaping how a multi-entity group leverages data and AI for efficiency gains and better service delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll oversee and build:
- The group’s AI toolkit (Claude AI or equivalent)
- Internal database management
- Reporting systems
- Data-led processes that host across the group

Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing AI-powered tools to optimise team workflows
- Producing board-level reports
- Managing key stakeholder data requests
This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, and business operations—where no two days will be the same (and that’s the appeal!).
What You’ll Need
- A relevant professional qualification in IT or Data
- Proven experience in:
- Building and managing data systems and workflows
- Claude AI or equivalent AI tools
- Data analysis, mining, and real-time processing
- The ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Strong written communication skills (especially for board-level reports)
- Cybersecurity awareness
