About Lumenalta

At Lumenalta, we partner with forward-thinking organizations to build technology solutions that scale, delight users, and accelerate business growth. Our global teams bring curiosity, commitment, and technical excellence to every project. We value transparency, autonomy, and impact—empowering every team member to do their best work.

Role: Quality Assurance Lead

We’re seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to own the quality and test strategy across a modern, AI-augmented engineering platform. This is a hands-on senior role responsible for defining quality standards, owning technical acceptance criteria, and supervising AI agent-led testing alongside human engineers.

Actively Hiring

We are hiring for a current opening on an active client project. This is a specific, presently open role. We review applications on a rolling basis and aim to move qualified candidates through our process promptly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and maintain the overall quality and test strategy across the platform—ensuring quality is engineered in at every stage rather than verified at the end, with no gaps in coverage or approach.
  • Supervise AI agent-led testing capabilities, continuously improving automated test coverage, defect detection, and regression pipelines produced by agents working alongside engineers—intervening hands-on where needed.
  • Own technical acceptance criteria across all cells, collaborating with Product Managers who own business acceptance criteria—ensuring delivered work consistently meets defined quality standards before release.
  • Lead functional testing efforts across all development stages, applying risk-based prioritization, overseeing test coverage, and providing authoritative guidance on methods, tools, and frameworks.
  • Plan and manage user acceptance testing (UAT)—specifying environments, managing test cases and scenarios, setting entry/exit criteria, and ensuring results are documented, analyzed, and reported to stakeholders.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for agent-led and continuous testing, implementing tools, frameworks, and prompts that uplift quality capability across all cells.
  • Establish and manage quality measurement frameworks—defining metrics, tracking KPIs (test coverage, defect leakage, automation rates, MTTD/MTTR), and contributing to organizational quality policies and standards.
  • Own service acceptance processes for complex deliverables—leading risk evaluations, assessing service readiness, and ensuring outputs meet both current and future operational needs.
  • Monitor emerging testing technologies and methodologies, assessing their impact and opportunities for the organization and producing roadmaps and recommendations for adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Product Owners, and cell members to ensure quality practices are consistently applied and support reliable, secure, and scalable delivery across the platform.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years in software quality assurance or test engineering, with a track record of leading quality strategy and test practices in complex, multi-team engineering environments.
  • Expert-level experience leading functional testing across all development stages and managing end-to-end UAT cycles—including test case creation, environment specification, entry/exit criteria, and stakeholder reporting.
  • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager is desirable. Professional skills certifications (ITIL, BCS, ISACA, ISC2, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • 6+ months of hands-on experience using Claude and Claude Code in a professional engineering or QA context — applying them to generate test cases, author test scripts, build quality automation workflows, and accelerate coverage through prompt engineering.
  • Experience working in agentic or AI-assisted delivery environments; ability to supervise, improve, and direct AI agents performing test coverage, regression, and defect detection.
  • Expert proficiency with automated functional testing frameworks—Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent—and experience wiring automation into CI/CD pipelines at scale.
  • Ability to establish and operate measurement frameworks, define KPIs, and contribute to organizational quality policies—including defect leakage, automation execution rates, and test coverage metrics.
  • Proficient understanding of microservices and API-based architectures; experience with source control (Git/GitLab), JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node/NPM for test scripting and integration.
  • Expert-level familiarity with Jira and Confluence for application lifecycle management; proficiency with monitoring tools including Grafana and Kibana.
  • Expert working knowledge of agile development methodologies; comfortable operating across cells with distributed engineering teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
