AI Security Analyst
AI Security Analyst
The AI Security Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks associated with artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and data-driven systems. This role bridges traditional cybersecurity with emerging AI-specific threats, ensuring that AI systems are secure, compliant, resilient, and trustworthy across their lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in cybersecurity, understands AI/ML architectures and data pipelines, and can translate technical risk into actionable guidance for engineering, product development, and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess security risks across AI/ML models, training data, pipelines, APIs, and deployment environments
- Identify and mitigate AI-specific threats, including:
- Data poisoning
- Model inversion
- Prompt injection
- Model theft
- Adversarial attacks
- Design and implement security controls for AI systems:
- Access controls
- Monitoring
- Anomaly detection
- Develop a systemic vulnerability monitoring process using:
- Custom and third-party agents
- AI models, tools, and applications within Sensata’s architecture
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for AI-enabled applications
- Support secure-by-design practices throughout the AI lifecycle:
- Design, training, testing, deployment, and retirement
- Contribute to AI security standards, policies, and guardrails aligned with organizational risk tolerance
- Monitor AI systems for misuse, abuse, and anomalous behavior
- Support incident response investigations involving AI systems or automated decision-making
- Develop playbooks for AI-related security incidents
General Responsibilities (Service Performance & IT Operations)
- Key participant in the development, support, and maintenance of the service performance management process
- Organize the creation and maintenance of a running catalogue of existing IT services
- Analyze, review, and measure service-level performance against agreed SLA (Service Level Agreements) and OLAs (Operating-Level Agreements)
- Collaborate with business and service providers to:
- Negotiate and agree on service level requirements for new or modified services
- Define performance metrics for evaluating service delivery quality
- Produce regular performance reports for stakeholders
- Maintain service-level review processes with business and service providers
- Initiate actions to maintain or improve service levels
- Act as a change agent to implement and manage quality improvement processes

Experience & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- University degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in:
- Cybersecurity
- Application security
- Cloud security
- AI/ML security domains
- Hands-on experience with:
- AI/ML platforms, frameworks, and workflows (training, inference, MLOps)
- AI threat models (adversarial ML, prompt injection, model leakage)
- Cloud-native security (containers, CI/CD, managed ML services)
Technical Proficiencies

Familiarity with:
- AI governance, model risk management, or responsible AI principles
- Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
- SIEM tools (e.g., Cylance, Falcon, Carbon Black)
- DLP tools (e.g., Proofpoint)
- Vulnerability management systems/programs (e.g., Rapid 7, Tanium)

1+ year of experience with the above systems and tools
