Company Description

Tuza is a $7M-funded London AI fintech backed by Northzone and Connect Ventures that builds AI agents to automate high-stakes banking workflows.

Job Description

Join a high-impact team in Shoreditch automating manual processes for global banks. You will own features end-to-end, building scalable architectures with TypeScript and agentic frameworks like LangChain. As an early engineer, you'll shape the core platform that orchestrates AI agents, customers, and humans to replace legacy banking bottlenecks.

Location

London, UK

Why this role is remarkable

  • Join a seed-stage startup backed by Northzone and Connect Ventures, the early investors behind global fintech giants like Klarna and Spotify.
  • Build at the cutting edge of agentic AI, using frameworks like LangChain and Temporal to automate a $100B manual banking industry.
  • Operate within a high-caliber team of ~10 people in Shoreditch, offering significant equity and direct influence over the product roadmap.

What You Will Do

  • Architect and build the core banking platform using a modern stack including React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Prisma, and Temporal for workflow orchestration.
  • Design and deploy sophisticated AI agents using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex to automate complex, regulated banking workflows end-to-end.
  • Collaborate directly with the CTO and product teams to spike proof-of-concepts and ship production features that reduce manual labor by up to 90%.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
