AI Solution Architect – Senior Manager / Associate Director | Capital Markets

Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
Salary: Compensation aligned to experience and seniority

Experienced AI Solution Architects are needed to support the design and delivery of enterprise-scale AI solutions within complex financial services and capital markets environments. This role is suited to someone who combines strong technical architecture experience across AI, cloud and data platforms with the ability to turn business challenges into secure, scalable solutions. You will work alongside AI Engineers, Data Scientists and wider technology teams to shape architecture decisions, define best practice and support the delivery of production-ready AI solutions. This is an opportunity to work on complex AI initiatives, helping organisations move beyond experimentation and successfully embed AI capability at scale.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing end-to-end AI, Machine Learning and Generative AI architectures
  • Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Defining AI architecture patterns across cloud and enterprise environments
  • Supporting solutions from prototype through to production deployment
  • Designing solutions using LLMs, RAG, embeddings and modern AI frameworks
  • Integrating AI capabilities into existing enterprise platforms and applications
  • Working closely with AI Engineering, Data Science and MLOps teams
  • Supporting governance, security and responsible AI considerations
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance across delivery teams

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience designing AI, ML or modern data solutions at enterprise scale
  • Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks or similar platforms
  • Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings and RAG patterns
  • Exposure to vector databases and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or similar
  • Understanding of MLOps, LLMOps and model deployment principles
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, integration and modern architecture principles
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
  • Experience within financial services, ideally capital markets or banking
