About The Role
This is a senior leadership role within a central technology enablement team, responsible for shaping how AI solutions are designed at the earliest stages of major opportunities.
As an AI Solution Architecture & Delivery Director, you will lead a team of senior architects supporting high-impact AI opportunities across the firm. You'll translate complex business requirements into scalable, delivery-ready AI architectures, helping teams move faster by reducing rework, increasing reuse of proven solutions and ensuring designs are grounded in delivery reality from the outset.
You will act as a trusted technical leader, working with senior client and internal stakeholders to guide architectural decisions, challenge assumptions and build confidence in proposed solutions. Success in this role will be measured through improved solution quality, faster decision-making and stronger conversion from idea to delivery.
This is an opportunity to shape how AI solutions are conceived and delivered across a wide range of industries and use cases, driving both technical excellence and long-term business value.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of senior AI solution architects.
- Shape AI solutions at the earliest stages of opportunities to ensure they are scalable, secure and delivery-ready.
- Define and embed standard AI architecture patterns and reference designs.
- Drive the reuse of proven solution components, demonstrations and prototypes across teams.
- Reduce the time taken to move from opportunity to validated technical solution.
- Act as the senior technical authority in complex AI solution discussions.
- Improve the quality, consistency and robustness of technical proposals and solution designs.
- Partner closely with engineering and delivery leaders to ensure architectural designs align with implementation capability.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to provide technical leadership, challenge assumptions and guide key architecture decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
