AI Solution Engineer - Manager
AI Solution Engineer – Principal IT Consultant (AI)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AI Solution Engineer to act as the key link between PwC’s industry architects (who identify AI business cases) and the firm’s development capabilities.
This role is responsible for:
- Shaping AI solutions that meet client needs and deliver measurable business value
- Ensuring technical feasibility in early engagements
- Selecting, designing, and demonstrating prototype solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor, blending :
- Technical expertise
- Problem-solving skills
- Business acumen
- Leading cloud-based AI prototypes to communicate solution value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Identifying viable, feasible AI solutions to address client challenges while showcasing PwC’s technical capabilities in proposals
- Having deep expertise in hyperscaler AI offerings, understanding:
- Technical requirements and dependencies
- Product/solution complexities
- How to export practical value propositions to potential clients
What Your Day Will Look Like
Primarily sales-oriented, this role sits at the intersection of:
- Technical teams (to validate solution feasibility)
- Non-technical sales teams (to articulate solutions)

- Bridging the gap between technology and business teams

- Selecting appropriate AI/ML solutions
- Demonstrating their ability to solve client business problems
- Showcasing AI technical excellence during early engagement discussions
This Role Is For You If You Have
Core Technical Expertise
- Extensive experience working closely with sales teams to shape feasible and scalable software solutions for enterprise clients, especially in process transformation
- Deep knowledge of AI model architecture, including:
- Practical expertise in LLMs (Large Language Models) & SLMs (Small Language Models)
- Understanding of performance optimization, suitability, training requirements, and deployment challenges
- Mandatory cloud platform experience: Hands-on experience in at least two of the following:
- AWS Bedrock / SageMaker
- Google Vertex AI
- OpenAI services
- Azure ML (Required knowledge as a baseline)
- Fundamentals of:
- Statistical modeling
- Machine learning principles
- Data science and machine learning applications
- Big data engineering

Process & Business Relevance
- Aide in:
- Capturing process complexities and data prerequisites for solutions
- Defining success criteria that map to both user and business needs
Cloud Operations
- Security & governance:
- Familiarity with landing zones, threat modeling, and AI-driven security implications
- Cost optimization:
- Experience in Microsoft, Google Cloud and AWS capabilities aligned to AI operations cost reduction
