The Mission

Join us to build a fairer world—where the brightest minds can scale humanity’s next breakthroughs.
The Role: Solution Engineer
Your Mission
You are Andela’s technical solutions architect—embedded deeply with customers to uncover challenges, design cutting-edge solutions, and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) that lead to qualified wins and long-term growth. As a regional captain for AI solutions, you bridge the gap between customer needs and Andela’s delivery capability, driving mission-critical transformations in enterprise AI, cloud-native architecture, and automation.
This is a high-leverage, 0-to-1 opportunity—where visibility is executive, impact is measurable, and career growth is deliberate. You will lead end-to-end solutioning, fostering deep client trust and partnerships that drive multi-million dollar pipeline commitments.
Who You Are: Exceptional Leadership
We’re looking for high-impact leaders—those who elevate the women and men around them rather than just their own work. If the following sounds like you—or your future self—we’d love to talk:
- Low ego, high gravitas: You celebrate others’ ideas, own your mistakes, and unapologetically focus on "why" over "who"
- Ownership mentality: The moment a problem arises—you solve it, or escalate with a roadmap
- occasionally wrong? — the best leaders. You push your own and other teams’ thinking further
- One team: Truly unified teams—no silos, no data hoarding; low drama, high empathy, and a relentless focus on the "why"
- Writer & speaker: Ideas you share are to the point, solve a problem or catalyze a conversation
- Cross-functional steward: You coach leaders around you to be more like you (who leverage you far more than you realise)
- Mentor: You champion and uplift colleagues, ensuring no one ever bottlenecks in your leadership

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
