AI Strategy Consultant
AI Consultant Remote (with client travel) | £100,000 – £120,000
Peaple Talent has partnered with a leading consultancy seeking an experienced AI Consultant to design and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions for high-profile clients.
This is an hands-on leadership role blending AI engineering, strategic consulting, and stakeholder management. You will:
- Lead AI-focused projects across multiple client engagements
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior technical and business stakeholders
- Design and deploy scalable, production-ready AI/ML solutions
- Drive MLOps, CI/CD, observability, and responsible AI frameworks
- Mentor engineers and grow a high performing AI capability
- Collaborate with cloud platforms like Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and associated tools
Key Responsibilities
- Projects & Consulting: Lead AI strategy, delivery, and reusable solutions for clients
- Technical Ownership: Ensure resilience, compliance, and impact measurement in AI models
- Engineering Leadership: Advocate and implement best practices in cloud and data stacks
- Team Growth: Develop and retain talent to strengthen the AI practice
- Technical Innovation: Prove and advance next-generation AI across industries (LLMs, agent models, enterprise use cases)

What You’ll Need
- Technical:
- Deep Python expertise, leveraging frameworks (e.g., fast.ai, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Proven track record delivering AI/ML into production
- Hands-on familiarity with cloud architectures, data pipelines, and observability
- Strategic & Commercial:
- Strong consulting and stakeholder communication skills
- Team-leading experience—balancing scaffolding delivery methods with data engineering nudges
- Experience valuable to clients, from investment justification to model handover
- Cultural Fit:
- Drive beyond expectations while collaborating with diverse teams
- Passion for cutting-edge AI (LLMs/agentic architectures; open-world computing; ethical constraints)

Competitive salary range: £100,000–£120,000 + discretionary performance bonus.
