Role details

Permanent, full time

Hybrid, within 30 miles of an office: Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester or London

AI is changing how software gets built, fast, and we'd rather shape that than watch it happen. We're building our AI practice now, across the work we do for clients and the way we build internally, and we want someone to own it end to end.

This isn't a strategy-deck role. You'll shape the vision for AI transformation across the business, set the technical agenda, and then actually build the thing. You'll be hands on with LLM APIs and agentic coding tools, and you'll be the person who gets the rest of the team building that way too.

What You'll Do

  • Own a portfolio of AI transformation objectives across our clients and inside the lab.
  • Take real business needs and turn them into practical digital products.
  • Design elegant solutions to demanding technical problems, ship the early versions yourself, then bring colleagues along by experimenting, guiding and supporting them so the new ways of working actually stick.
  • You'll move between the keyboard and the boardroom, translating between technical and business audiences and getting people genuinely excited about the work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
