AI Transformation Lead

AI Transformation Lead – Compliance

A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an AI Transformation Lead to join its Compliance function and drive AI adoption in a regulated environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI transformation initiatives within Compliance.
  • Identify AI use cases and automation opportunities across existing processes and workflows.
  • Design and implement AI-enabled solutions to enhance control effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability within a regulated environment.
  • Redesign workflows to incorporate AI-driven decision support and intelligent automation.
  • Oversee testing, validation, deployment, and optimisation of AI solutions.
  • Monitor model performance, including:
    • Output validation
    • Bias identification
    • Model drift
  • Support AI governance, model lifecycle management, and adherence to internal control frameworks.
  • Drive adoption of generative AI capabilities across the Compliance function.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Finance, HR, and Front Office teams to deliver strategic transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in delivering AI-enabled solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Generative AI
    • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
    • Workflow automation
    • Intelligent monitoring technologies
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills (structured & unstructured data).
  • Knowledge of AI governance, model risk management, and explainability principles.
  • Experience in:
    • Gathering and defining business and functional requirements.
    • Conducting gap analysis and process mapping (e.g., BPMN).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-business area influence.

Desirable Experience (Bonus)

  • Compliance, Risk, or regulated financial services background.
  • Experience with brokerages, investment banks, or asset management firms.
  • Consulting role background.
  • Project Management or Business Analysis certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
