Air and Ocean Imports Customs and Documentation: Felixstowe

Are you an experienced Air and Ocean Imports Customs and Documentation professional looking for your next opportunity?
Our client, a well-established freight forwarding company based in Felixstowe, is seeking an experienced professional to join their busy operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can confidently manage import documentation and customs formalities whilst ensuring shipments move smoothly and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling Air and Ocean Import shipments from start to finish.
- Completing customs entries using CDS.
- Preparing and processing import documentation.
- Liaising with customers, shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, and HMRC.
- Ensuring all customs and import documentation is completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving any shipment queries.
- Maintaining accurate shipment records and ensuring compliance with current customs legislation.

Requirements
- Previous experience in Air and Ocean Imports.
- Strong customs clearance experience.
- Essential experience using CDS.
- Essential experience using Sequoia.
- Excellent knowledge of UK customs procedures and import documentation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.
