Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer
adi Climate Systems Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer Location – West Midlands (with travel further afield as required)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing team. The role involves service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including air handling units and chiller systems, across commercial and industrial sites throughout the West Midlands, with occasional travel nationwide when required.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning, refrigeration, AHU, and chiller systems Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting across a wide range of systems Delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works Ensuring all work is completed in line with current regulations and industry standards Accurately completing service reports and documentation in a timely manner Maintaining a high standard of customer service while on-site Participating in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support

Equipment You’ll Work On
Split and multi-split systems VRV / VRF systems Chillers (air-cooled and water-cooled) Air Handling Units (AHUs) Refrigeration plant and cold room systems
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
Proven experience as an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer Strong working knowledge of AHU and chiller systems Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent) Valid F-Gas certification (Category 1 preferred) Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
