We are a highly respected and established commercial contractor, specialising in the installation and maintenance of air conditioning, ventilation, and heat pump systems across the South West of England. Thanks to our continued growth and strong reputation, we are looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our installation team.
This is an opportunity to:
- Play a key role in delivering high-quality installations on a diverse range of commercial projects.
- Work on a variety of projects ranging from small commercial installations to large-scale developments.
- Take pride in your workmanship, have strong manufacturer product knowledge, and confidently manage installations while supporting our contracts team to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Installing a range of air-conditioning systems from Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Toshiba and others.
- Following mechanical drawings, tracking changes and site challenges.
- Quality checking materials and kit to ensure project specification is adhered to.
- Ensuring all work meets current installation and health & safety standards.
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable, and proactive customer service on-site to colleagues and other contractors, project managers, and suppliers.
- Working both independently and as part of a team on projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who’s not only technically skilled but brings energy and pride to their work. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience in air-conditioning installation of Splits, Multi, VRF & Hybrid systems.
- F-Gas Certification - Category 1, 2079 Refrigerant Handling.
- NVQ level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration or equivalent experience.
- ACRIB Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Site Supervisor SSSTS certificate (desirable).
- First Aid at Work (desirable).
- IPAF (desirable).
- PASMA (desirable).
- Manufacturer Training such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive, reliable, can-do attitude.
- The relevant technical skills and knowledge required to complete projects from start to finish.
- Own hand tools/battery power tools (specialist tools are provided).

Working hours
- Full Time - 40hrs Basic week (8 am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday)
Location
- Mobile - travel directly to sites.
Salary / Benefits
- Salary Range - £34k to £48k Dependent on length of experience, qualifications and training.
- Regular Bonus Pay & Overtime.
