Air Conditioning Engineer (Data Centre)
Air Conditioning Engineer - Responsible for Maintenance and Emergency Repairs
About the Role
Responsible for the maintenance and emergency repairs of Vertiv’s Thermal Management products, as well as other contracted systems. He/She must establish, promote, and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales managers, distributors, and colleagues, while ensuring seamless collaboration with scheduling teams and department managers.

Maintenance & Reporting
- Help maintain a minimum 90% planned maintenance completion rate.
- Keep scheduling teams updated on schedule changes and job status updates.

Data & Record Maintenance
- Report errors in customer listings using the site change form.
- Ensure daily/weekly tasks are closed in Oracle Mobile Field Service (MFS) and paperwork is submitted accurately and timely.
- Synchronise data using the FieldDB system and generate regular reports.

Leadership & Communication
- Report sales/service leads to relevant departments via proper processes.
- Align with company vision and management decisions.

Operational Compliance & Trust
- Follow Vertiv processes and ensure adherence to company tools.
- Responsibly manage and maintain assigned company vehicles.
- Protect issued tools and company property.

- Team & Rotation Support

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 2078 or 2079 in Refrigerant Safe Handling, with acrib.com subscription mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in computer systems.
- Previous experience in environmental service roles.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Self-motivated ability to plan, organise, and manage time efficiently.
- Valid driving license.
