About The Role:

Shift Pattern: Working 5 days out of 7 - including some weekends.

We are looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join the Facilities Engineering team at Thorpe Park Resort. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a large, dynamic team responsible for maintaining and servicing the resort’s air conditioning systems across multiple areas.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of all air conditioning systems across the resort. Diagnose and repair faults on AC units and associated equipment. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and relevant regulations. Work collaboratively with other engineers and departments to minimize downtime and maintain guest comfort. Respond to reactive maintenance requests promptly and effectively.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent). F-Gas certification (essential). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing priorities. Experience within electrical works in addition to air conditioning is an advantage
