Role: HVAC & Refrigeration Engineer
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 + Overtime + Benefits (DOE)
Omega are supporting a well-established HVAC and refrigeration business in their search for an experienced HVAC & Refrigeration Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with over 25 years of industry experience, delivering installation, service, and maintenance solutions across commercial and industrial environments including healthcare, education, and manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities - HVAC & Refrigeration Engineer
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of air conditioning systems
- Service and maintain refrigeration equipment across a range of commercial and industrial sites
- Install, commission, and repair ducted HVAC systems
- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and industry standards
- Complete service reports and required documentation accurately
- Work independently to manage workloads while supporting wider engineering teams when required
- Maintain excellent client relationships through high standards of service delivery
- Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and company procedures

Requirements - HVAC & Refrigeration Engineer
Essential:
- F-Gas Certification 2079 – Minimum Level 1 and Level 2
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the HVAC and refrigeration industry
- Experience working on air conditioning, refrigeration, and ducted systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable:
- Experience working within commercial and industrial environments
- Knowledge of healthcare, education, or manufacturing sector requirements
- Additional HVAC or mechanical qualifications
- Experience with installation and commissioning works
