Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Air Conditioning / Chiller Service Engineer at Commercial Maintenance Services UK Limited. The Air Conditioning Engineer will carry out installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems across client sites, following company and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing faults, performing preventative and reactive maintenance, completing compliance and service documentation, and coordinating with the wider maintenance team to support integrated building services. The role involves planning and prioritising work orders, liaising with clients to provide clear updates, and ensuring health and safety procedures are consistently applied. The engineer will also support asset condition reporting, recommend improvements, and contribute to high-quality customer service and operational reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on commercial air conditioning equipment and chilled water system.
- Proficiency in Building Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair activities, with the ability to work across a variety of commercial environments.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in refrigeration, air conditioning, or mechanical engineering (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent F-Gas).
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, safe working practices, and applicable industry standards.
- Ability to work independently in a remote capacity, manage workload, and use digital tools for reporting and communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering reliable, customer-focused service.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
