Experienced Air Export Operator – Full-Time (Temporary to Permanent) – Coventry, CV2
Location: Coventry, CV2
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary with possibility of permanent position
About the Role
Our client in Coventry is seeking an experienced Air Export Operator to join their busy freight forwarding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Air Export experience, available to start quickly and looking for a role with potential progression to permanent status.
What You’ll Do
Working in a fast-paced office environment, your duties will include:
- Managing air export shipments from booking to final departure
- Preparing and processing all Air Export documentation with accuracy
- Completing export customs entries using CDS (Customs Declaration Service)
- Liaising with airlines, overseas agents, customers, and transport providers
- Arranging collections and coordinating shipments
- Tracking and monitoring consignments while providing regular customer updates
- Ensuring all filing and procedures comply with company standards
- Maintaining excellent customer service throughout the shipment process

What You Need
To be considered, candidates must have:
- Proven experience in Air Export Freight Forwarding
- Strong working knowledge of CDS customs entries
- In-depth understanding of Air Export procedures and documentation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive team player attitude with strong problem-solving skills
- Availability to start on a temporary basis
