Air Hygiene Supervisor – Marlowe Environmental Services (Part of Mitie)
Location: London (Mobile across the South East)
Hours:
- Full time (40 hours per week)
- Days & Nights shifts
About the Role
At Marlowe Environmental Services – Part of Mitie Company, we create a workplace where people thrive. As an Air Hygiene Supervisor, you will support our regional air hygiene operations by supervising operatives, performing technical tasks across customer sites, and ensuring services meet stricts safety, compliance, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor air hygiene operatives, maintaining safe working practices aligned with Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS) while delivering professional client engagement
- Carry out kitchen extract and ventilation system cleaning, adhering to:
- TR19 Grease standards
- BS9999 (Fire damper inspections)
- Install access doors in line with DW144
- Perform plant inspections, follow preventative maintenance programmes, and recommend repairs or equipment updates where needed
- Ensure accurate completion of:
- Service reports
- Pre-work risk assessments
- All required documentation
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting ventilation and air hygiene systems
- Strong understanding of:
- Leadership experience, including:
- Managing or coaching teams
- Demonstrating supervisory capabilities
- Full UK driving licence (essential for mobile work)
