We are looking for an experienced Air Import Coordinator to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in our global operations. In this position, you will take full ownership of the shipment lifecycle, mastering the balance between shipment coordination, transport documentation, and financial accuracy to ensure every arrival is seamless.
As the primary point of contact for our customers, you will build long-term partnerships through proactive communication and a dedication to exceptional service. This is a high-impact role designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands that precision is the key to customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do?
- Full Lifecycle Air Import Management: Manage the full life cycle of air import shipments, liaising directly with airlines to ensure timely cargo release.
- Logistics & Transport Coordination: Optimize fleet schedules and subcontracted haulage to manage efficient, cost-effective collections and deliveries.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building long-term partnerships through proactive communication and swift resolution of shipment queries.
- Operational Compliance & ETSF: Oversee ETSF operations and monitor customs systems to ensure rapid shipment turnover and documentation accuracy.
- Financial Administration & Billing: Accurately allocate arrival costs and manage the invoicing process, ensuring data aligns with customer agreements to minimize errors.
- Inter-departmental Collaboration: Partner with warehouse and export teams to maintain precise internal records and achieve operational KPIs in line with Service Level Agreements.

What you’ll need?
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience in freight forwarding, with a strong understanding of air import operations and documentation.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using freight management systems and standard industry software to manage shipment data.
- Operational Agility: The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with ease.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail combined with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Commitment to Service: Flexibility to work occasional paid overtime to meet business needs and client deadlines.
