Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for Aircraft Cleaner Drivers to join a well-respected and successful client at Belfast International Airport.

Please note:

  • Successful applicants must hold a Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Due to enhanced background checks, this role is only suitable if you have continuously resided in the UK for the last 3 years.

What’s on offer:

  • Rate of pay: £12.94 per hour
  • Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off
  • Shift Timing:
    • Night Shift - 22:00pm to 06:00am
  • Weekly pay: (every Friday)
  • Temp to Perm: (performance-based)
  • Free staff car parking

Key Duties:

  • Clean aircraft cabins to airline and regulatory standards, including:
    • Vacuuming carpets and seats.
    • Cleaning and disinfecting tray tables, armrests, seatbacks, and overhead bins.
    • Emptying and sanitizing lavatories and galleys.
    • Removing and disposing of waste.
    • Replacing seat pocket materials (e.g., safety cards, magazines)
    • Restocking onboard supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and catering items.
  • Drive cleaning vehicles safely around the airport.
  • Load and unload cleaning supplies and equipment from vehicles.
  • Follow all airport and airline safety procedures, including wearing PPE.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding schedules and assignments.
  • Work in all weather conditions and be prepared for variable shift times.

Shifts available:

The airport is operational 365 days a year, 7 days a week so full flexibility is required. This could be subject to change!

  • 4 on 4 off
    • Day 1: 22:00pm to 06:00am
    • Day 2: 22:00pm to 06:00am
    • Day 3: 22:00pm to 06:00am
    • Day 4: 22:00pm to 06:00am

Requirements:

  • Must hold a Full UK Manual Driving License.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Great work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpretational skills.
  • Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties.
  • Proof of National Insurance
  • Proof of (current) Address
  • 5 Year Address History
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete an Access NI following their interview in line with CAA requirements.

PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
