Aircraft Cleaning Services
Company: Swissport Location: Newcastle Airport Contract Type: Part time, fixed term until 31/10/2026 Hours: 16 hours per week, between Monday – Sunday (shift work)
- Must be available to work between the hours of 10am and 4pm (roster may vary outwith these hours) Salary: £12.91 per hour

About the Role
As an Aircraft Cleaning Agent with Swissport, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of aircraft interiors, contributing to a positive passenger experience.

- Thoroughly clean and sanitize aircraft interiors, including:
- Passenger seating areas
- Galleys
- Lavatories
- Crew rest compartments
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and disinfect floors to maintain cleanliness standards and ensure passenger safety and comfort
- Dispose of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with established procedures and safety regulations
- Restock and replenish supplies such as towels, blankets, and toiletries as needed
- Perform routine inspections to identify and report any maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all safety protocols:
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Chemical handling procedures
- Ensure deployment of environmental processes and procedures (refer to QHSE Manual)

Qualifications
- Preferred but not required: Previous experience in aircraft cleaning or janitorial services
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
