Aircraft Cleaners at Newcastle Airport

Optime Group are proud to be recruiting Aircraft Cleaners for a prestigious client at Newcastle Airport. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company offering excellent conditions and facilities.

Start Date:
20th July

What's on offer:

  • Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour
  • Working Hours: (You must be flexible with the hours you work)
  • Shift pattern: 2-3 Shifts Per Week - 23:45-07:00
  • Overtime available
  • Weekly Pay (every Friday)
  • Temp to Perm (performance-related).

Key responsibilities:

  • Cleaning of all areas of various sizes of aeroplanes making sure they are ready for their next journeys.
  • Cleaning and restocking aircraft consumables.
  • Vacuuming carpets and wiping down equipment and surfaces.
  • Cleaning aircraft kitchen areas (galleys) and washrooms.
  • Removing rubbish and making sure that it is properly disposed.
  • Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials.
  • Security checking of the aircraft and reporting any findings as per your training.

Shifts:

This role would be seen as a part-time role, working 2-3 nights per week. The shift hours for the position would be nights - 23:45 - 07:00. There is a possible for these days to be extended, based on cover, Overtime etc.

The ideal candidate:

  • Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card.
  • This role requires you to stand for long periods of time.
  • UK Settled Status (If applicable).
  • Proof of National Insurance.
  • Proof of (current) Address.
  • 5 Year Address History.
  • 5 Year Work Reference History.
